And that’s a wrap on 2022 for The Edit Suite team! Cheers to another incredibly busy yet rewarding year. And, of course, a massive thanks to all our amazing clients for making this year one to remember!! We’ve been so lucky this year to have travelled across Australia doing what we love, and we’re super excited to see what epic projects 2023 brings. In the meantime, let’s take a look back at just a handful of the amazing projects we worked on in 2022…
tourism australia. This year, The Edit Suite team continued shooting for Tourism Australia, creating video and photography content for 100+ Queensland tourism operators as part of their National Experience Content Initiative. We’ve been in and out of the office on rotation, travelling to Cape Tribulation, Port Douglas, Cairns, Townsville, Brisbane, Fraser Island, Magnetic Island, Charters Towers, Warwick, and Stanthorpe – just to name a few! These trips were full of many once-in-a-lifetime experiences from first-time dives, hot air balloon rides – even swimming with sharks at night without a cage…..eeeeek! We are stoked to have been part of such an awesome project, meeting some absolute legends along the way. Here’s just one of the 100+ videos we’ve made for Tourism Australia this year.
wsl x visit victoria – mick fanning. We’ve worked closely with the World Surf League this year on a number of projects. One of our favourites was when we got to travel the Great Ocean Road with three-time world champ Mick Fanning for WSL x Visit Victoria, exploring the amazing stretch of coastlines alongside the world-famous surf breaks, incredible wildlife and ancient rainforests. The Great Ocean Road holds a special place for Mick who has fond memories of the region from his time competing in the Rip Curl Pro, Bells Beach. It’s been awesome getting to work alongside Aussie surfing icons and major brands such as Destination NSW, Dometic Go, Haval GWM, Oakberry, and many more.
major events gold coast x springtime. We love working with the Major Events Gold Coast team each year on their great lineup of free music festivals, including Blues on Broadbeach, Groundwater Country Music Festival, and Cooly Rocks On. 2022 was special because it marked the inaugural Springtime Music Festival! Springtime took over the beaches and streets of Surfers Paradise from 2-4 September, featuring some of our best homegrown and national artists, including Hermitude, Skegss and Sneaky Sound System. nrma parks and resorts. In 2022, The Edit Suite team was tasked with creating a new suite of content for NRMA Parks and Resorts’ brand refresh campaign, and we loved every minute! We were lucky enough to travel across Australia capturing video and photography to create a whole new suite of content for NRMA Parks and Resorts, helping them to revamp their image in alignment with their key brand pillars: Delight, Reconnect and Discover. We’re still stoked each time we see one of our shots plastered across billboards, buses and online platforms.

gold coast film festival 2022. Here at The Edit Suite, we love any reason to celebrate! The annual Gold Coast Film Festival has something for every member of the family to love, from pop-up cinemas to Q&As and parties! We loved being on board with Gold Coast Film Festival, capturing all of the best moments through photography, videography and-live streaming. We also attended the Screen Industry Gala Awards, hosted by Gold Coast Film Festival, which was a big night for us! Not only were we there filming, but we also made our red carpet debut as guests, and we were over the moon to be awarded the Queensland Screen Business of the Year 2022! Again, a massive thanks to our amazing clients who make it possible.
dîner en blanc – gold coast and brisbane. Over 1,100 guests attended both the Brisbane and Gold Coast Dîner en Blanc events. Guests showed up in white to wine, dine and dance in celebration. The Edit Suite team looks forward to filming and photographing this event each year. Enjoy these highlights!
into the wild escapes. We had an amazing time working with the Into The Wild Escapes team to showcase their premium tiny getaways and stunning surroundings. Enjoy this dreamy brand video, introducing their new branding.
tweed sand bypassing. The Tweed Sand Bypassing Initiative is a joint initiative of both the NSW and QLD Governments. The bypass supplies sand to the beautiful southern Gold Coast beaches for locals and tourists to enjoy. We had the opportunity to get on board with this project to tell the story of its positive impact.
queensland resources council – ‘shape your future’ 2022. “Shape your future, innovate our world” was the tagline of the Queensland Resources Council’s 2022 digital campaign, which we were stoked to be a part of! The campaign featured real-life mining employees, who work for leading resources companies, and aimed to encourage young people to consider a career in the minerals and energy sector. Check it out!
burleigh brewing keg jump 2022. The Edit Suite team had a blast filming and live-streaming Burleigh Brewing’s sold-out keg jump event. It was a fun community celebration of craft beer and skating, which saw Australia’s top skaters come together to compete for a massive prize pool valued at $9,000! Skater, Dani Campbell took home the top gong for the second year in a row – 14 kegs!! Bring on 2023’s keg jump… can the record be broken?
