Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games

The Gold Coast was host to one of the largest sporting events in Australia for the 2018 Commonwealth Games, an international multi-sport event for members of the Commonwealth, where more than 6600 athletes took part in 11 days of competition. The Edit Suite was so humbled to be a preferred supplier for video production and photography leading up to and during this event. We were tasked with showcasing the incredible initiatives, festivities and competitions spread across new and existing venues on the Gold Coast including the Games’ arts and culture program, ‘Festival 2018’. Our scope of work for this project included concept creation, script writing, video production and editing. Given the nature of the event, The Edit Suite had two teams on the ground each day to capture footage and create highlight videos with a fast turnaround time.
