World Surf League

The World Surf League (WSL) first approached The Edit Suite in 2019 to create content across its events and brand partnerships. Since then, the collaboration has grown into thousands of assets, including campaign films, promos, brand partnerships, and photography across Australia and tour locations, all produced in fast-moving, high-pressure environments on the world stage.

WSL x Tavarua Island – Giant Clam Restoration Project

Created for the World Surf League during the 2026 Fiji Pro, this documentary-style film explores Tavarua Island Resort’s giant clam restoration project in partnership with the Fiji Ministry of Fisheries and the University of the South Pacific. Filmed on Tavarua Island and underwater in the surrounding reef, the piece highlights the work being done to nurture, rehabilitate and restore endangered giant clam populations in Fiji.

WSL x Fiji Marriott – Momi Bay, Fiji

A brand partnership film for the World Surf League and Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay, featuring Felicity Palmateer. Filmed in one day across the resort and Cloudbreak, including drone and in-water cinematography, then edited the following day for broadcast during the WSL event.

WSL x Fatboy – Jack Robinson

Produced for the World Surf League in partnership with Fatboy, this cinematic surf film featured professional surfer Jack Robinson across the Snapper Rocks and Kirra coastline on the Gold Coast. Designed to feel raw, immersive, and connected to the environment, the project combined natural lighting, smooth camera movement, and location-recorded sound design to create an atmospheric lifestyle campaign grounded in surf culture. The Edit Suite handled filming, editing, sound design, colour grading, and post-production, delivering a cinematic piece blending performance, storytelling, and authentic coastal energy.

Created for the World Surf League and Oakberry, this lifestyle commercial campaign was produced by The Edit Suite from concept development through to final delivery. Our team managed storyboarding, creative direction, filming, editing, colour grading, and post-production to create energetic brand content designed for digital campaigns, broadcast integration, and audience engagement. Filming across Australia and internationally, The Edit Suite specialises in commercial video production for lifestyle, sport, tourism, and brand campaigns. Filmed against the backdrop of Australia’s stunning coastline, we embraced a cinematic and energetic style, capturing the spirit of surf culture and OAKBERRY’s love for health, adventure, and good vibes. From high-energy surf action to laid-back moments with an açaí bowl in hand, we told a story full of warmth, authenticity, and passion. Produced for the World Surf League in partnership with Visit Victoria, this adventure lifestyle campaign featured professional surfers Isabella Nichols and Erin Brooks across a series of cinematic films shot throughout Victoria. Captured at Live Wire Park, the project combined action, friendship, and athlete-driven storytelling through high ropes courses, zipline experiences, and natural performance moments. The Edit Suite developed the creative concepts and scripting for the series, alongside full video production, photography, editing, colour grading, and post-production, delivering a connected campaign designed for tourism, digital, and brand marketing platforms.

Created for the World Surf League, this commercial campaign featuring Sally Fitzgibbons was filmed as part of the WSL’s brand partnership content during the Australian events. Produced with fast turnaround broadcast delivery in mind, these shoots are typically filmed, edited, and delivered within less than 24 hours. Over the years, The Edit Suite has created thousands of commercial videos and sponsor campaigns for the WSL, filming across Australia and internationally while combining cinematic production with authentic athlete-driven storytelling.

WSL x Visit Victoria – Mick Fanning

The Great Ocean Road is one of the world's most scenic coastal drives. Just a 1.5-hour drive from Melbourne, this amazing stretch of coastline is known for world-famous surf breaks, incredible wildlife, and ancient rainforests. It’s also a special place for three-time world surfing champion Mick Fanning who has fond memories of the region from his time competing in the Rip Curl Pro, Bells Beach.

Produced for the World Surf League in partnership with Visit Victoria, this content series followed professional surfers Isabella Nichols and Erin Brooks across Torquay and Victoria’s iconic surf coastline. Captured across a single production day, the project delivered three finished films within 24 hours. The Edit Suite developed the creative concepts and scripting alongside full video production, photography, editing, colour grading, and post-production. Designed to feel energetic, natural, and platform-friendly while maintaining a cinematic finish, the series blended surf culture, travel, and athlete-driven storytelling for tourism and brand campaigns.
